Day 29 Chuck Pongby thomaspeopleComment by rachelellen: Thanks, now I have a vision planted in my brain of a ping-pong player with a Goliath-style fatal injury: a ping-pong ball half-embedded in the forehead. NICE.
;-P
I actually really like the swirly patterns in the background in this image. It kind of looks like something you'd see on some pretty patterned paper or something. Maybe giftwrap. Or a topo map. :) |

Day 30 macro micby thomaspeopleComment by rachelellen: oh, what a very cool object. I LOVE your macro of it -- great job! (My husband was also a CB freak, but he didn't have an awesome mic like this one.) |

Day 29 Chuck Pongby thomaspeopleComment by thomaspeople: Originally posted by citymars: It seems so unfair that work should interfere with our photography, but that's the way it goes. As for being "a little behind" (and your joke about body types in the forum thread), I'll just add that it's better to be a little behind than a big behind.
As for your photo, I can't guess. Is it a ping-pong ball with a photoshopped background? |
It's a ping pong ball in front of a white sheet of paper (I was at work taking a break. I played with extreme saturation and extreme unsharp mask. This is the result. It looked to me like something you'd see if you got smacked real hard...in a cartoon world. |

Day 30 macro micby thomaspeopleComment by citymars: What a great looking microphone. Funny how there are reflections in the screwhead but not in the surrounding flat metal. Nice composition and conversion to b&w. |

Day 15 big crowsby thomaspeopleComment by citymars: They look like they might be made of audio tape or of shredded garbage bags. Whoever made these is quite an artist. Beautiful sky.
Happy anniversary, I hope you enjoyed your getaway! |
