Love the clouds in this shot and the way you can see their shadows on the ground in the distance. You could really make this image pop with a little post processing. IMO, if you were to crop the right side so that the largest building visible moved away from being directly in the center, then did a little adjustment with brightness, contrast and levels to enhance the light and shadows, it might bring it closer to the way that it looked in person.

Wow - this re-defines the statement "living out in the middle of nowhere"!
If you ever get the chnce to re-shoot with a real camera as you say, I would try for a day where the sky has smaller clouds though as they seem to over power the image here.

You know... it took me a minute and then I realized I was enjoying the texture of a pair of tightywhities. Good job in making me stare unduly hard at your underwear without realizing it... and nice textures and lighting too by the way.....

disturbed.... its neat...I like it - but I dont WANT to like it. LOL I think your right in that I would have voted it high, wich means the average voter would have hated it. :)

I like the warm colors and tones you have going on in this shot. I also like the mist coming off the water. Only a few things are catching my eye as small issues, your horizon seems a bit heavy on the right side and the sky in the upper left seems a bit blown out. Still a wonderful photo.

the color almost looks faked here unfortunately. i'm sure it's real, but i'll bet there are much more interesting ways you could have used it as a backdrop for a different shot.
