Drill Instructorby thomaspeopleComment by CalliopeKel: Those DI's are amazingly devoted to their jobs all the way through graduation, never stopping once at letting their guard down in front of their recruits or their parents. They spend 3 months of grueling devotion to transforming these guys into Marines. Lack of sleep, and keeping up the same physical pace as those they are training.
I bet they hate having all those nasty civilians in their clean bunk house. :)

dads dadby thomaspeopleComment by CalliopeKel: Obviously an old photo, but well taken and the quality is really good.
Those were the good ole days. When technology was just getting going and people actually had time to visit each other and have nice meals together. |

Private Thomasby thomaspeopleComment by thomaspeople: Originally posted by CalliopeKel: Wow. Look at that low amount of bodyfat :)
He is sure to gain atleast 5 lbs the first week home. |
But he's doing push-ups before and after every meal. Yesterday he got a ride out to a place for a haircut - and ran home after. He told us that he knew it was only a couple of miles because he wasn't breathing hard when he got back. |
