I sprinted about 2 tenths of a mile down the beach chasing the plane to catch the moment of impact. Just before it hit, I stopped, focused, and hit the shutter. My heart was racing and there was no way I was steady. I was pretty thrilled that they came out as clear as they did.

Just noticed its a little Piper PA-38 Tomahawk, when I used to have flying lessons thats what we started in (sadly too expensive to keep up).. ALthough in the pilot fraternity it was more widely known as the Trauma-hawk...
