Not bad at all. He's very confined by the frame which gives the viewer no alternative but to consider his predicament. Maybe a tad too sharp, but good details anyway.

Very slight over sharpening does not affect this image's artistic impact. That slight technical issue is a nit pick and would not ordinarily affect any viewer. A very technically competant conversion that enhances the artistic effect in a very positive way. A very candid portrait of a man down on his luck - effective photo journalism.
