imo too much space on the left - the guy & his gun are balanced in the frame which makes this appear very static... keeping him off center would make this more dynamic

I am new here and relatively so to serious photography; so, I will offer only my response, not a critique.

The image of the man firing the gun is exceptional. I am put off by the lack of fire-power in the flash. There is something lacking in the explosiveness I would expect to be conveyed. Is it an edit? Perhaps a darker setting would have made the flash more brilliant. I would also expect to see some lighting effect on the face of the shooter or a puff of smoke or something from the barrel. Of course, I don't shoot these guns, but my Glock strikes me as more lethal then the photo of this shooting should imply.

Very nice blue here. There are a few points that are black, or blue in the water. I would move the frame a little down, and left so the branch isn't so close to the edge. Overall I like this.
