I give you kudos for being the only other person who went this route. Great minds think outside the box. Unfortunately the scores tend not to be as high out here. Not really sure how to make it better. I thought it was pretty funny and it should have scored higher.

I liked this shot. To make it better - hmmm - maybe cloneout some of the specs within the lamps to make it a bit cleaner and maybe a tighter crop on the sides. I love how the lamps just look like they are floating out there. And I think you took the shot atthe right time during the lamp cycle. Later on the lava would be in too many pieces and have a different effect. This has a cool feel about it. Very nice.

thanks for the comments! it is one lava lamp that I placed on my sink using a night stand. then i used the background mirror and a medicine cabinet mirror on the left to make the third reflection.
