You got the shoe part right, but I think the rest of the photo is lacking. The first thing I notice, and I keep going back to it, is the rug underneath the shoes. Should be on some background that is not distracting. And the single light source does not provide adequate lighting to light everything up, and is not versatile enough to use emotional lighting.

Beautiful beautiful shot. Turning this b&w makes the picture a statement and not just a visual. This is very well done, however.. i would have waited for those birds to fly by.. they are a bit of distraction. 8

I really like the use of black and white in this photo. The contrast of the steel fence, conveyer and storage tank with the wooden barn is nice. However, the birds in the background are a little distracting.

Sky is a little overexposed. However, the contrast is very good in the darks and midtones. Nice pleasing shot.
