I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Well - I was never sure how to address the 'All things being equal' challenge. This is inspiring! Lovely composition - the title actually really helps the eye to decode the image too. Great colours and bags of interest.

Critical stuff: Focus - I can't help but think that I'd like to see the moth in sharper focus.

Overall: Very unusual FS entry. Very put-on-the-wall-able too. Great stuff.

This is wrong on so many levels. The pose is unnatural and forced, and the contrast is flat. But all this strengthens the deadpan feel of the whole thing -- and it makes me smile. Eight points for you.

Sorry but for me this really just seems like a portrait with nothing special and, imho, no Fine Art quality. May just be my opinion and the great, terrible, funny, crazy, stressful, interesting thing with art is our varying definitions. Good Luck.

She's got a lot of character and your lighting is nice. I think maybe a tighter crop would bring that out. In this case, the negative space is working against you IMHO.
