Storm on the Horizonby BrianRComment by SandyP: Now, this is a photo that works very well with grain. It enhances the mood of the photo and looks really cool with those golds and stormy blues. Reg is a good model for this type of photo. He looks the part very well.
I really think this deserves much higher than 5.3 |

Piperby BrianRComment by Melethia: A delightful pose of a lovely young lady. I think with young children, the skin action may be overkill, because they already have perfectly smooth and beautiful skin to begin with. Have you tried processing it again without that action? It really is a nice shot to begin with. |

Storm on the Horizonby BrianRComment by Melethia: You've really created the ominous mood of an approaching storm with this! I think the grain serves it well in two ways, both photographically, and the grain of the sand, too. |

Slipping to the Unknown futureby BrianRComment by Melethia: I really like the idea of time "falling" or slipping into the picture - that part works very well for me in this. The background picture you chose may not be my favorite, though. I think you have some in your own portfolio that are far better than this one; "Early Mornings and Open Spaces" is the promise of a new day, so that would work. Great clock, too, by the way! |
