Looking for C30 - 1by arnitComment by bucket: Bleak and effective-what is that in colour far away..I kind of like it and at the same time find it a bit annoying as I am not sure of what I am looking at-overall well done. |

Looking for C30 - 1by arnitComment by srbrubaker: We simply never would have gotten the title had the subjects been unsaturated like with the rest of the photo. I like the fact that they are tiny; but I'm unconvinced that they really add photographic interest to the photo. I love the trees and the implied lines in the photo. |

Looking for C30 - 1by arnitComment by Tallbloke: The two colour figures make for an interestng focal point and give the snse of searching through the vast graveyard for the grave in question. Personally I think you could have achieved the same "message" by getting in a bit closer and making more of the figures. Nice message though. |

Surreal Ironingby arnitComment by Kavey: Now the original version of this idea is back in your portfolio it's interesting to compare. Why does the first one work better for me? The location/ background is more interesting and provides more contrast to the foreground. The light is much more interesting and golden. Your facial expression is stronger. The bright colours of the clothes being worn and ironed are stronger, especially with the way one sleeve falls off the board and swings below in the breeze. The only thing I like more in the second is the substitution of a kettle for the iron. |

Surreal Ironingby arnitComment by atsxus: I'm disapointed that this didn't do well - I'm sure it got knocked down because people perceived it as just a reshoot, instead of building on what you did before, but I love it anyway. Wish it had made the top 10.
