I Will Followby arnitComment by Kelliloo: I like the bright green color outlining your"line' as it were. I get led to the left which is at the corner of the picture, not sure if that's what you had in mind. I am very glad you used color in this. Nice shot. |

I Will Followby arnitComment by Sammie: Very nice leading line into the photo. It looks a bit overprocessed along the water. |

The Dock of the Bayby arnitComment by apprentice: Really good photo! Looks like something I would see on a calendar. But, for the challenge, I think there is too much of the landscape, taking away from the dock. Also, it is hard for me to tell whether the dock is steel or wood. |

Planet Marsby arnitComment by dwterry: You're probably getting hit with comments about being oversharpened... but otherwise the lighting in this image is pretty cool. |

Planet Marsby arnitComment by Artifacts: Great work with what likely is a much more mundate original. The clouds are distinct, dramatic, well focused and there are no overexposed areas. The way you have added a lot of viewer interest to the composition through lighting post-processing on the hillls is terrific.
This will meet the challenge for most reviewers.
The only technical flaw is the transition border between horizon and sky. It has haloing. It is common to have haloing show up when sky and ground separately have global processes applied to them. You can easily clone out that defect by selecting the sky only and expanding it a pixel or so if needed to include all the edge halloing and quickly cloning the edge to remove the defect. I always save selections by name so they can be brought back later specifically for this purpose.
Overall this is an excellent image that should score very well. |
