Nice close-up, however the brown thing on the left is pretty distracting and kinda looks like a piece of turd. What is it? White balance might have been adjusted to bring out the colour in the subject. Jacko.

Dinner does not look very appealing from this angle. The little guy is cute though. Looks like this was taken at a resteraunt by the placemats. His head blends in quite a bit with the orangish background wall. The lighting seems ok, and the cropping/framing are good. Focus on the little figure is good too.
