oh...i like this alot. love the beautiful pink color and a ver interesting subject. the layers of petals adds to this wonderful image but i think theres way too much neatimage. I would rather see the detail of each petal but thats just me. still very nice

I was totally bummed when I got home from vacation to find out that I had been disqualified. I know it's my fault for not paying closer attention to the submission rules but still disappointed nonetheless. It was doing better than my other two challenge entries.

Anyway, I'm guessing they requested validation because the picture looks dodged and burned. The fog effect was created by running the picture through neat image three times. The original image had a lot of noise. It would have been perfect for the grain entry in its original state. The only other processing I used was channel mixer, auto levels, and auto contrast.
