I see the humor with the ball positioning, and maybe you were adding some anonymity as well - but in this case I think it detracts. I mean, I love this shot - it's very well done, except the ball placement is too artificial and for me it wrecks the illusion.

I can see this is validated so I know this is authentic but the problem with the "ball" is that in my opinion it looks too fake, it´s lit too differently from the backround to make it work. Keep in mind that I am not saying I could do better, I can´t but then again I would not submit a shot that looks like this.

Other than that it´s a decent shot, nice composition and colours, I gave it a 5.

I think this shot is awsome!! A very unique approach to the challenge, an excellent idea and a wonderful job doing it.

Nice capture. It fits the title well. I love the gradient colors in the sky, and the negative space. The shrub in the foreground is a little in the way though.
