May (It Must Be Spring!)by GolferDDSComment by Gadus: I like the picture and the addition of the butterfly on the flower. The two smaller flowers growing up from the ground add to the spring look, and the sharpness/detail of the flowers is good. My one comment would have to be the leaves on the ground. Maybe not so much if they were green leaves (though I suppose leaves don't fall even in spring), but the orange and brown leaves envoke an autumn feel, and detract from a spring one. |

Bush...Heads: Kerry...Tails by GolferDDSComment by mrorange002: congrats on the red!
I'm glad I was wrong about the shadow blowing the shot! (i still would have cloned out the shadows, but, hey, that's me)
good concept none the less, and a great way to make them stick (wax)
keep it up!

Bush...Heads: Kerry...Tails by GolferDDSComment by ajschmidt: I am trying as I type this to pull off you picture for real with my d70 and SB-800 flash that can do rapid fire. Great inspiration for me. Thanks for the great Idea.

Bush...Heads: Kerry...Tails by GolferDDSComment by GolferDDS: Thanks everyone for your comments and voting on my picture. Winning this ribbon is a wonderful surprise. Just goes to show that even a blind squirrel will find a nut on occasion! |
