I expected this to do way better. One of two 8s I gave in the challenge.
Congrats on finishing over 6 though. This would look fantastic as an 11x14 behind your receptionist!

Hands down the best photo of a dentist's tool I've ever seen. The color play with the gold/brass and the silver/pewter metal is gorgeous. The only dock I have is the fact that the background has been rendered a bit blocky because of whatever smoothing/blurring you've done, I would guess to combat noise? It looks like similar things I've done with neat-image like programs...

Still, that's a minor quibble really, as the main subject jumps out too much to really dock too much for the background. (although I'd be more inclined to give a 9 if it was smoother)

Just the right amount of detail, the water spraying from the tip really adds to the image. Not sure about the background though, the colour is nice but it seems kind of mottled?
