Appreciate The Little Things In Life by GolferDDSComment by GolferDDS: Originally posted by posthumous: Originally posted by GolferDDS: Originally posted by posthumous: This is very good advice, but I would have chosen something even littler and less celebrated to make the point even stronger. |
A hummingbird is the smallest bird on earth. They weigh about the same as a dime. How small were you thinking? |
If I told you what was smaller than a hummingbird, then I would deprive you of the experience of looking around and finding the myriad all around you. |
Are you insulting my intelligence? If you look at my portfolio you would be quite aware that I am adept at appreciating the world on a very small scale. It is too bad that you feel the need to criticize my entry for such an unnecessary reason. Of course you are allowed your opinion but really? It appears that the overwhelming majority disagree with you and they get the point as well as appreciate the beauty of this tiny creature. Message edited by author 2025-07-18 12:55:27. |

Appreciate The Little Things In Life by GolferDDSComment by nam: Very well done. Congratulations on the Blue.
(If I had had a bone to pick, it would have been with the fact that you capitalized both "the" and "in" - which I actually did not notice until this moment LOL) |

Appreciate The Little Things In Life by GolferDDSComment by kanaj: I was pretty sure this beauty was another of yours. You have quite the knack for capturing these elusive hummingbirds. I attempted to photograph one a couple weeks ago--and bigger, I think, than the one here--and I was having more luck with a restless bumblebee. Congrats on the blue! |
