I don't normally like borders, but this one picks up the tone of the shadows quite well. I like the way the lighting was used to throw the differently-toned shadows, but the slight grain to the background and the dust at the lower right edge keep distracting me.

Wow, Very tender moment. Love this one. The hair seems a bit blown but the composition is so powerful that it really minimizes the effect of it.

Great portrait. Everything looks natural and beautiful. I think I would have burned mom's hair just a tiny bit to try to save that highlight. Otherwise the high key works well. 9
