I like this photo. The contrast between the emerging green growth and the dead leaves around it is stunning! Good focus on subject. The blurred horizontal twig in background looks just a bit un-natural. Otherwise Very well done!

Hello,
I think your overall composition and placement of the main subject is good although moving it to the left a bit would have improved it alittle. The road coming in from the right doesnt bother me and tends to keep my eye focused on the bucket and tree as your main subject. I think muting the background or a better use of selective focus would have helped in allowing the subject to stand out more from the background. My eye does tend to wander to the left at the bright snow and darker background tree. The overall mood of the picture helps support your subject. If it had been a bright sunny day there would have just been too many distractions and conflicts. Not a bad shot but I think working on separating your subject more from the background would have really helped.
