Quail Day 1by riversongComment by JerseyGenie: Darlene, the composition of this one is really really good. You've got the magical number of three, which is always good for design. AND they make up a thin triangle, another always good element in design.
Good job. |

Quail Day 1by riversongComment by icu1965: Beautiful shot! We have quail around here, but they're not that dark. Do you know what kind they are? |

New Year's Day Sunrise Day 1by riversongComment by JerseyGenie: Darlene,
Lovely tones. I'm sorta with Jason smardaz in that I'd like more snow. My personal petpeeve is rain in the winter.
We started out well with snow early on, but seem to have petered out. Looking forward to more snow scenes. Message edited by author 2008-01-01 16:44:32. |

Once upon a time in the middle of winter..by riversongComment by suemack: What a wonderful image, perfect for a Christmas card!
..... and don't beat yourself up on this one Darlene, I did exactly the same once. Got carried away using layers and masks and changing modes in a basic challenge....forgot what I was doing. Had been busy editing stock pics, quickly edited my challenge entry, uploaded it ..... was a basic challenge and was justifiably DQ. |
