This image has a lot of potential, but it has few bugs that could be improved upon. The grain here is on purpose I guess, but it kind of kills the shape. Also it apears too horizontal. Perhaps positioning the body on an angle with just the bikini and legs showing to make it more abstract flow of shapes. Also since we are alowed to spot edit this challenge, you could have cloned out the specs on the bottom of the right leg. Great effort.

I too am partial to the shape of the heart. I don't feel that the enhanced grain adds to the intimacy of the photo, at least that's my opinion, and I'd suggest a little more control of the light.

I have come back to this image several times trying to figure out what is it that just doesn't quite set right with me. After viewing it about 5 times I think it's the expression on the child's face, the fact that an adorable (sorry it comes through) child would try to look so mean or evil is what I'm guessing you went for here. The shot itself is overall very well done, good cropping, I like the "sprite" off center and the coloration adds a lot to the image of a nightmare.
