What a cool photo. I love the 2 synchronized looks, and the horses look so striking in that flat plain. I bet this looks nice in color too.

I agree this pictures sucks the big one it is out of focus and the comp is crappy. I just wanted to hear you say that not because the newt color wasn't right. I did about 6 diffrent pics for this challenge and I was doin alittle drinkin and I put up a really bad picture.

Welcome to DPC. I see this is just your fourth entry in a Challenge!

I liked your approach with the black and white image to give the bridge that 'old time' quality. The voters liked your image quite well, but it probably just didn't have that extra 'pop' that would give it a high score. Still, it worked well for the Challenge. One of your commenters said a different crop might have improved the image. I don't know it if would actually improve the iamge, but I also like the idea of moving the crop in towards the main attraction - the bridge. It would, I think, center the interest of the viewer.

All in all, though, a good image that scored well, and met the challenge.

I'll be looking forward to seeing more of your work in future Challenges.
