ONEby electrolostComment by purpleflutterby13: I love this. You've captured a moment. The birdie seems deep in thought, sort of distractedly walking along while its mind is elsewhere. And oddly, I can very much identify with the mood. So the level of personification present in the picture very much impresses me - it's not often you see a picture that seems to express an animal's emotional state :) |

ONEby electrolostComment by Bruce_the_Robert: You've shot the beastie from the back: how dare you! There aren't pretty colors throughout: how dare you! The horizon is *gasp* tilted! How dare you! I love this, not because there are technical "faults," not even "in spite of" the "faults", but simply because I find it intriguing, and all the elements together -- darkness, light, processing, composition -- heighten that intrigue for me. I'm glad you shot and processed as you did. |

ONEby electrolostComment by Wildcard: This is fun, it made me smile as soon as I opened it. I'm in two minds about the dark area of the background, on the one hand it would probably be more DPC friendly without it but for me the image would lose some of it's impact if you cropped it out. It looks like the duck (goose?) has someplace to go, he looks like he's checking for traffic before heading for that dark area. |

ONEby electrolostComment by figaro: The pose of the bird really gives it character, and the negative space is great. I'm a little perturbed by the sloped dark background, which I think draws the attention away from the bird a little, but nevertheless a great quirky shot which I like very much. |

Interpretive Danceby electrolostComment by Alicia: This is really lovely - delicate colors, awesome light. I would try a white frame on it, though. The black seems to drag it down a bit. The birds are gorgeous and posing so nicely for the photo. This is very good. |
