I like the idea here a lot, but I do wish the numbers could either all be the same tone, or be three different tones. The 1 stands out too much for my taste. I keep wanting to see the numerals as ice cubes -- which means, to my mind, you've done a good job toning to change one set of objects into another set in the viewer's eye. Good luck.

Great play on words for this challenge. Not sure about the shadows cast to the left. I think they detract slightly from the "simplicity" theme.

The white background works to set this badge off and make it really get focus, but you might also try experimenting with putting the badge in some kind of context, too.

I think the lighting is too bright, it has washed out the texture of the surface except where there is shade, and put some "hot spot" highlights 2 points of the badge
