grassesby datcatComment by macrothing: 4 - Like the concept. Criticism; of course you know how much detail you've lost at this size, but cannot be helped. The white background is not complementary to these shots in my opinion, not sure what color would have worked better. Arrangement, again not sure, the brick is a lot 'harder' than the first two and therefore seems a little out of 'line', especially seeing as the grass is out of focus in it, which likely works better larger, but in this, the main focus is on the bricks. Cannot discern what the 'sand' colored surface is in 2, guessing sand or earth, but the pattern makes me wonder. Perhaps, with the 'height' seemingly available in these shots of the grasses, a more vertical framing may have worked better, not sure. |

grassesby datcatComment by tonylees: This image has a really modern feel to it. I'm enjoying the square format and abstract detail. Great triptych!. |

grassesby datcatComment by Sinky: I really love the subject, the mood, and the individual pictures. I think that if they were larger, perhaps with a thinner border or taller format, it would have had even more impact. But still a very strong compilation. |

...and all the trimmingsby datcatComment by RKT: I find this completely dazzling and curious...on one hand I want to know what I am looking at..."what are these baubles?" I ask myself...and then again I want to be kept in the dark to allow my imagination to take control...either way, this is quite wonderful! |

...and all the trimmingsby datcatComment by jorr: This could look "busy" but the white beads?? are too out of focus and the round light?? are very distracting. Also the top right corner has a bit of blown highlight that also detracts from the overall photo |
