Monster at Red Fish Lakeby falveyComment by Koriyama: As a joke photo, this is fine. Maybe it'd have been better if the fish were coming in from a side, rather than be positioned dead centre. The background does not have very vibrant colours, nor is the fish particularly sharp. 4 |

Rocky Mountain Sheepby falveyComment by Dave Gordon: Very nice capture of the sheep. The background is kind of busy, and the sheep has two unicorn horns (branches) apparently jutting out of his forehead. |

Rocky Mountain Sheepby falveyComment by nephrotic: Such a shame that the snow burned out so much. Very difficult shot to get away with unless you meter from the right place. I guess you metered from the animal. If you can with your camera - thiswould have been one of those to use grey card on. Of course if yours is fully automatic then that would be impossible and in that case cropping it differently would help eliminate the problem but still leave some snow. If you want - I will email you a jpg of how I would crop it. |

Rocky Mountain Sheepby falveyComment by Koriyama: Nice composition and an effective subject. Maybe a shallower dof would have helped distance the subject from the rather bland background, though. 6 |

Rocky Mountain Sheepby falveyComment by adine: I like the composition the way the sheep is "caught" between the snow and the gray branches. The light is a bit flat, the sheep blends into the background a bit much. What would happen if you played with the contrast a bit? The snow is already a bit bright, I'd selectively exclude that from any changes. |
