You can really see the true height of that bridge from the angle you shot. Very cool colors from blue to purple.

Greetings from the Critique Club.

This is an excellent entry for the 30 second challenge and has all the elements for success, hence the strong scoring with the voters. Good DOF, Excellent and thoughtful composition.

If anything the image lacks a little impact. To really capture a voters attention you need that WOW factor to grab them in that few seconds window as they skip through the entries.

The headlights of the on coming vehices are a little burnt out and tend to dominate the shot a littl.

Overall this is a great photo showing a real eye for composition and good technique. If you have access to return to this scene can I suggest that you try again earlier in the evening as a little color in the sky can really help bring the shot to life (I suspect that this would be hard to achieve over 30 seconds so may not have been an option for this entry)

Good angle of the bridge...What I see here is the lens refraction of the lights on the upper spire. Also it seems a bit dull, maybe up the contrast/saturation up a tad.

I have stood on this exact spot and photographed the exact same subject, but not with such great results. I love the massive feeling your photo conveys. And the hint of fog/mist is so ... Bay Area. Well done.
