You got the coloring perfect, this looks very similar to a postcard of the lighthouse at Cape Meares Oregon that I just bought, circa 1890. Bump 9.

First Impression - the most important one:
Is this kid lost or what ...

Composition:
Lovely .. the DOF is great ... my only issue would be that he is entirely centred.

Subject:
meets the challenge with gusto.

Technical (Colour and light):
With that hat I would expect a darker face . .that it isn't is a testament to your shooting ... I like the lighting and how this is just a flukey type shot.

To grow its vote?:
Shoot the detractors .. this deservered better but only those who can read the voters minds do extremely well.
