Keep plugging away. I know you feel as out of place entering open challenges as I do. I was lucky with this action challenge cause it had advanced editing.

My eyes believes that it is the rock that is in focus, and not the animal I don't remember the English name of. By cutting the stone away and some form of sharpen technique could improve this photo a little bit. That being said, well done and well shot! I have a similar photo of a sheep, but they are not potential killers like this animal. I emvy you this shot!8, and would probably get 9 or 10 if the rock was gone.
