My Natureby AlainComment by JPR: I love how the littlest details can turn an introspective self portrait / nature shot into product placement. Go North Face! |

sculpted by the windby AlainComment by GrayGhost: Nice idea. Focus more toward foreground would help. The tight packing of the row of headstones on the left might have made for better composition. |

... sans titre ...by AlainComment by Artifacts: Beautiful snow scene, great concept, not overexposed, very nice high contrast B&W. Vertical is not true in this image. You can see that if the trees were corrected to vertical (tops tilted back to the left) that the end of the deck would be straightened as well. A curiosity, though, is that front railings would be made even more unbalanced than they already are. Not sure why that is or how to correct it. |

... sans titre ...by AlainComment by eqsite: Lovely black and white. The snow looks perfect. You get a real sense of cold and bleak. Makes me shiver just looking at it. |

The Dropletby AlainComment by mamba: Love the inverted image withing the water drop, i would have been tempted to crop closer in to show a little larger what was within the drop. |

sculpted by the windby AlainComment by Melethia: Quite a nice shot - well seen and captured. Good job with the tonality of this particularly when snow can be so difficult. I do love the way the wind sculpts snow - it's quite fascinating! |
