Too much going on in this photo for me. Also The subject who I assume is the bee is too obscured by the flower to be a focal point. The Bokeh in the background was working for you. Possibly a tighter crop would have fixed much of this.

Sorry but this is so far from meeting the challenge as far as I am concerned, for me portraits = people, I can let pet´s slide though but this isn´t even close. Shame as I like the shot, I love the clouds and the dark blue skies, I would have given it a good rating if it met the challenge it was in. No offense intended with this comment, I just wanted to explain why I gave it a low rating.

I try quite hard to find an angle in a shot that would make me understand how that photographer felt their image would fit a challenge. Sadly, I find I cannot grasp here how you thought this fitted a portrait challenge and you score will be affected by this. Such a shame, because in the right contest this shot deserves to do extremely well.
