You on onto something here, I would have suggested keeping the model about three feet (1 meter) in front of the background. Had you done this and brought everything (lights and all) foward I think it would have been

A very nice glam shot! Great use of lighting. I can see the body was retouched quite a bit to give it that FHM look. You should be working for a top magazine!
