strong expression, a different cropping would have made it stronger IMO (either cropping off the right side, or having the subject more centered)

Sometimes I think the titles get in the way. When I look at this image, I see a very nice image with great detail, and crystal clear focus in the face, with a nice out-of-focus shirt and ear, which helps me concentrate on the wonderful photography of the face. HOWEVER...without the title, I can look in this man's face and see sincere passion, or I can see disappointment, or I can see intent listening and concentration. Whatever the "Mood" is, this is a great image, and deserves a very high score. I'm starting off with <8>. I expect to it will be bumped up a bit the second time throough. Good luck on a great image. <8>

This is outstanding. I wish for a little more light (perhaps dodging or curves) on the eyes, but overall I really love this. Great expression, immediate sense of mood. Well done! :o)
