Comment by Teafran:
A very post modern image - different and unigue even though it follows the singular monotone/color meme - a solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it has significant impact being richly colored with excellant detail. This image would have worked as a black and white as well. A perfect demonstration of the power of properly controlled light and focus. Well done.

Uhm, I hope I'm not offending anyone here, but honestly I think the photograph would have had more impact if
a) It was more saturated
b) The models were a bit more attractive.

The lit highlights on the models is also a bit blown.

However, I like the fact that it makes you wonder about what the story behind this is. 6.

Comment by Teafran:
An effective and dramatic portrait, the slight highlights and subtle lighting, while technically perfect, isn't necessarily "creative" rather than a demonstration of as a "how to" light a portrait. If this were a portraiture challenge, it would be a sure ribbon winner. However, there is nothing overly creative in this image and as such rates lower than it should - it really is a terrific image, just wrong place at the wrong time.

Fun shot. Love the expression on his face. Not sure about the highlighted temple area.

Great shot.....makes me homesick for those ferry rides, although I got off at Kirribilli. Incredible clouds!

Very evocative. Love the side lighting, the dangling straps which balance the shot. Nice work. No vote.
