Decades of despairby fotofrogComment by kiwiness: This building is in despair, good one... I like the way the sky is also dark and depressing, it puts more emphasis on the whole image. What is that pattern in this photo, did you take it through a window? |

Decades of despairby fotofrogComment by byronb: great compostion, but bad moire pattern. It doesn't hurt it as a photo but it is an image for presentation. Nice job. Where's this at? I'm a big fan of abandoned places. |

Decades of despairby fotofrogComment by DrJOnes: Nicelly framed. Good use of B&W. Very good photo. Too bad the image is so compressed and we see the compression artifacts... 7/10 |

Decades of despairby fotofrogComment by Martus: I really like this shot, but there is some strange texture to the whole scene, almost like it was shot through a screen-door, which is very distracting. Otherwise very nice. |

White Orchidby fotofrogComment by Gracious: Critique Club Comments by Grayce
You did a fantastic job of exposing here, preventing any glare or burnout on the flower. That isn't easy with a white subject, but you managed it well.
I like the contrast against the background, and the bg is also nice and natural. It's a little distracting toward the top with the branches and sky, and a slight change in perspective could probably have corrected it. That's not a major issue, since it is a natural scene as opposed to a set up.
Overall a very lovely image.

Grayce |

White Orchidby fotofrogComment by Lustre: I like the shallow depth of field - it really brings attention to the orchid. Lighting is wonderful, the white is great without being glaring. My only problem is I find it a little hard to see the bottom of the orchid against the background - but only a small problem. Well done. |
