too much flash , too many details - to focus the hat , I would darken the image to bring out the texture , then crop the image some more

There are a lot of other color competing for attention here. The background is pretty distracting and it would have been nice to see more of the girl.

Well, the hat is definitely pink, but other than that, the photo doesn't make much sense to me. It seems very unplanned. Candids are fine but I think they should have a purpose. It seems a little busy as well. I'm not really sure what I'm looking at. The hat could have been a great subject, if used in a better way, i think.
