I don't think your post processing supports the picture. I'm guessing but it looks like you used too much noise reduction.

Also, the street kid is barely in the photo. The beautiful view is overwhelmingly nice, but it doesn't add to an impoverished feel. Although it is a sad situation I think it could have been captured better without worrying so much about the scenery.

This looks to me like a boy sitting on a sidewalk, but somehow poverty is not implied. I'm also not fond of the processing done to this one.

Nice colours but I tend to agree with what others have said, not quite exciting enough ... maybe removing the top level of items and adding more cups to form a pattern (with a different cup in there somewhere to add some interest)
