stock 2 missed deadline.jpgby DrewLongComment by floyd: What a great idea! Focus is a little soft in the top left but the white backdrop and the lighting are quite good. Not quite sure why there is so much orange reflected in the grater, though. A good effort that would have scored a 7 from me. |

power in the skyby DrewLongComment by puzzled: This is almost surreal. I like the power lines and towers. The criticism I can give is that it's hard to know if my eye is intended to focus on the sky or on the power lines. I think if the clouds weren't burned so much, it would be an awesome picture. Nice work overall, though. |

power in the skyby DrewLongComment by MrAkamai: Interesting composition and strong on the dark and gloomy feel. The trees/plants in the foreground are distracting and seem to detract from the overall feel and focal point which are the power lines. If you cropped the left side almost all the way to the second tower and then eliminated the plants, might score higher with me. Of course you'd have to do some cloning to get rid of the plants by the second tower. Nice start, though! |

power in the skyby DrewLongComment by magnon: Nice "foggy" feel. However, I have problems making my eye meet the closest power pole. Maybe it could be composed differently. If you had the time, the opening in the skies could work as an attractor to either the closest or the farthest pole. |
