Looking at this I can almost feel what it must be like to fly. The energy, the wonder, the beauty of it all captured in this one shot. Your 499th placing is a crystal clear illustration of the mindset of the voter. The voter doesn't care about what your photo is about. kinda funny that people are saying and voting that the bird id OOF when it is quite obvious at that level of blur it is intentional. While this is not something I would personally like I think you ahve done a wonderfull job. If I had voted I would have given an 7 or 8. great job.
