Arachnophobiaby jonrComment by jmsetzler: Good shot! Spider webs are very difficult to photograph. In order to get them nicely, there are several things you can do... first of all, a dark backdrop helps because you need to have the web and the camera lens perfectly parallel to each other in order to get the depth of field just right to keep the entire web in focus. In this image, you are photographing from the right and the left side of the web is vanashing into the outside ranges of the focal plane. It takes two people or some sort of prop to keep the backdrop behind the image. It also helps if you can use a tripod to hold your camera very steady for a shot like this... good work! = 7 - jmsetzler |
