New bales of hayby jonrComment by waltoml: Good photo. I'd like to see this one in color. There doesn't seem to be enough contrast for b&w to really work well. I like the usage of the varicross lens. Focus is good, subject is well presented. 7 |

New bales of hayby jonrComment by Kavey: Nice reflections. Would be interested to see outtakes if you took others of this subject. I find the round field intruding at the back right a distraction, wonder if it would have been possible to get similar shot looking at slightly different part of field, and losing that bit? Or maybe close in on just one group of bales? Just thinking out loud here... 5, Kavey |

New bales of hayby jonrComment by samwise: I would have loved to see this picture in colour as I think it would have worked well. The highlghts on the bales of sileage (not hay I'm afraid) are a bit high for my taste but a good effect all the same. |

New bales of hayby jonrComment by alanfreed: I would have loved this shot had it been in color. With the beautiful contrast that fields can offer (the tans and greens), I don't see the advantage of doing this in B/W. I do like the way the sun glimmers on the bales, though. |
