In all seriousness though. An excellent image, and should have been your free study shot last month, but lucky for you, this Gem challenge comes along and you get to use an image you didn't have the cohones to use in the Feb Free Study for fear of getting another DQ. I'm rambling again, aren't I... I'm not even going to get close to 100 comments at this rate... but you know what, I'm enjoying the free style writing exercise this comment has become... I might even try a few
K10DGuy type comments while attempting the 100 comment goal... just to make it interesting, though, my writing abilities are nowhere near those of K10DGuy.

Seriously though... I love the colour variation and the randomness of the light in this shot. I'm not sure about the light in the base of the glass... that might cost you some points with the voters, as too might the rim of the glass... but too hell with those voters that can't recognise a brilliant image when they see it. Excellent image.
