I have shot jellyfish before and know it is hard to get an good image that is in focus, well lit, and with a relatively good composition. You've done quite well here. I like the white specs in the background. I think you chose the correct image to submit compared to your two outtakes. |

First Encounterby rexComment by jmritz: Wonderful capture. The only nit pic would be to crop the left to make the image more centered, I think the illusion of space would still be there but my eye wouldn't be drawn to the empty star field off to the left side. Nice one. |

I think you realise that a smaller aperture would have been preferable to get the whole jellyfish in focus, but obviously the light conditions prevented that. In short, something very different, very well composed and very well edited. Good work! |
