I think it's absolutely gorgeous. It's an intimate portrait with a unique composition. The people who comment tend to be the most enthusiastic photographers, and thus the most perceptive voters. Take their word over the rest of the mob.

The white spot is blown out. The focus could be better. The composition is good, but I would like it better with a sharply focused focal point. I also see pixelation in this, did you crop a lot?
Sorry, but all in all I see this as an average photo, with a lot of room for improvement. I wouldn't complain about your score, you placed in the top half.

This is a beautiful picture. I like the clarity, light, compostion. All of it. I especially like the cropping. Isis is a winner.
