Way to tight of crop for my taste (all centered up).... could have been composed better by including more of something else (possibly more giraffe neck). Colors and focus seem good.

as cute as this guy is, this image is not what i would consider a really strong free study entry. there might some things you could do from a technical standpoint to improve the image, and hopefully you're getting some comments in that direction, but, on the whole, this doesn't really have the 'wow' factor that can make a point or two difference in the results. good luck.

The boder is a little too much. It's so bright that it's distracting and though it does mimic colors in the image, I don't think it really augments them.
