Whitby Harpistby benhurComment by Brad: I'm sure you have heard this during the challenge already, but this image would have been far better with out the border, or at least kept it to a minimal 15-20 pixel plain white one. |

Whitby Harpistby benhurComment by Art Roflmao: I like the shot generally. Could be a little more saturated or contrasty and could do with a simpler border. Well done, though and great subject. |

Fallen Factoryby benhurComment by Brad: At 500x333 pixels, a lot of detail gets lost going down in size like this.
In the future, try and use the 640 pixels on the longest side to your advantage. Image is also only 73K - still had a lot more file size to go. Use as much of the 150K as possible to reduce how much compression the shot gets.
The site has some excellent tutorials on preparing a shot for a challenge in the Forums, Tutorials section.
Met the challenge, though a bit lacking in clarity/detail, again probably due to the small image and file size. Be careful about cropping or cutting off the top of a roof too like that - the yes tend to follow the natural lines upward to something missing. (4) |

Whitby Harpistby benhurComment by crabappl3: Drive by shooting? I say this due to the lack of sharp focus and over powering frame you've used. While the shot is somewhat emotive, I think it'd be more so in black and white. No I'm not deduction for the frame, but you have to concider if it compliments your shot or distracts from it. |

Fallen Factoryby benhurComment by datcat: This would be better if the top corner of the building was in the frame, otherwise the point of view is good. The sky looks a bit over processed. |
