5:55 on 05/05/05 @ 25.5 degreesby benhurComment by srdanz: Should have put the clock in a refrigerator for a couple of min... would have drained the battery, but it would have gotten rid of the "2"
Now, I'll subtract whole 2 points for the monitor showing up in the photo. This monitor is the difference here between a photo and a snapshot. It is a pity that you went through the effort to think about the shot, set up everything, and in the end show us the monitor with some junk underneath ...5. |

Canal Side Bistroby benhurComment by BobsterLobster: Composition seems unimaginative, and I don't see why the top of the door on the right was cropped off. Well done for trying a slightly different angle though... ie near the floor. The shot doesn't really capture me though or make me interested in the scene. |

Canal Side Bistroby benhurComment by whagerbaumer: If this picture were taken later in the evening, the outside and inside lighting would be more balanced and the inside detals would be clearer. A 6. |

Shoot against a less busy background, perhaps stick a nice dark sheet of paper back there, or place the clock against a more subtle backdrop. Or you could have cropped out the Philips LCD and stand. Second issue is that the exposure is a bit high and the glare off the clock a bit strong, factors which could easily be corrected by using a different exposure setting (or softer lighting). |
