Lighting could have been better on this one. The shade would be good to accentuate death, but the streaks of sunlight spoil the image. Not sure about meeting the challenge, though. Yes, title indicates usefulness but who read the title with a such powerful image? 5

I think it's a dynamic crop, and the image as a whole is showing lots of energy particularly in cloud of dust. I did find the background to be too muted, and the contrast to be a bit on the bland side. The version I played around with used a bit more contrast and dodge on the background, foreground and cloud.

I don't know that you really need a critique. The image is almost perfect. Your composition is great! I love the smoke trail, it really drws the eye to the white car. If I had to be really picky, and I mean anal, I would say the bright green sign in the background should be removed. Great shot. Happy shooting.

my goal is to comment on every photo in this challenge..heres urs..good luck..nice photo but it lacks the wow effect for me...maybe if u had either gone macro or pulled away from ur metal would have made it better IMHO
