The pole just doesn't feel right. My eye is telling me it shouldn't normally be that dark. I also seem to see some sort of halo around it. Weird.

this is personal taste but i dont like the toning... i would have preferred something a bit more desaturated. I think the photo could have used a bit more of unsharp mask

A great capture, the perspective and lighting are perfect. Your natural frame is nice but some detail has been lost at the top, its seems a little dark.
